TDOT will close lanes Thursday on State Route 13 in Montgomery County in order to inspect Cumberland River Bridge

Montgomery County area Tennessee Department of Transportation Maintenance Work starting August 1st, 2013

Tennessee Department of Transportation - TDOTNashville, TN – In Montgomery County, the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports that on Thursday August 1st, between 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be intermittent lane closures in each direction on State Route 13 in Montgomery County from the 17.0 mile marker to the 18.0 mile marker in order to do bridge inspection on the Cumberland River Bridge deck.

TDOT Maintenance: Middle Tennessee

On Thursday, August 1st through Wednesday, August 7th, 9:00am-3:00pm, (excluding weekends), there will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:

  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

Cheatham County

On Thursday August 1st through Wednesday August 7th, 7:00pm-5:00am, one lane will be closed in each direction on I-40 eastbound in Cheatham County between mile marker 188 and mile marker 191 for pothole repair on the Harpeth River Bridge deck.

Davidson County

On Thursday August 1st through Wednesday August 7th, 9:00am-3:00pm and 7:00pm-1:00am, (excluding weekends), there will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates. All lanes will remain open.

On Thursday August 1st through Wednesday August 7th, 8:00pm-1:00am, (excluding weekends), there will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing. One lane will remain open.

On Thursday August 1st and Monday August 5th through Wednesday August 7th, 9:00am-3:00pm and 8:00pm-5:00am, there will be mobile operations in various locations on the interstates in Davidson County for Drain Cleaning Operations. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.

On Thursday August 1st, 8:00pm-5:00am, the right lane will be closed on I-65 southbound at the I-65/I-40 West split for milling and paving. The left lane will remain open.

On Thursday August 1st, 9:00pm-12:00am, there will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 southbound between Exit 79/Armory Drive and Exit 74/Old Hickory Boulevard for milling bumps.

On Tuesday August 6th, 8:00pm-5:00am, the two left lanes will be closed on I-24 eastbound between the 47 mile marker and 49 mile marker for milling and paving. One lane will remain open.
