Clarksville, TN – On Wednesday, August 4th, 2013 at 7:36pm a SUV struck a motorcycle in front of Scooters Pub & Grill, 2458 US 41A Bypass.
Robert Smith Jr was riding the motorcycle when it was hit by a 2008 Mazda CX9 driven by Richard Hardwick. Mr. Smith was taken by EMS to Gateway Medical Center where he was flown by Life flight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
The Fatal Accident Crash Team responded to the scene and Officer Larry Harris is the lead investigator.
