Fort Campbell Domestic Violence Awareness Month Activities

Fort Campbell's Morale, Welfare and Recreation - MWRFort Campbell, KY – October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Join Army Community Service (ACS) Family Advocacy Program (FAP) at the three Domestic Violence Awareness activities planned throughout the month.

On October 1st from 9:30am to 12:30pm at the Family Resource Center (FRC), we will hold a Domestic Violence Awareness Proclamation, “If Your Partner is Violent Don’t Stay Silent.” During this event, the proclamation will be read by the Garrison Commander, Col. Dellinger. There will be guest speakers as well as Domestic Violence information available.

On October 4th starting at 3:00pm at Freedom Fighters Physical Fitness Center, the Annual 3 on 3 Domestic Violence Awareness Basketball Tournament will be held. The deadline to register your three-person team to play in this tournament is October 1st.

Everyone is invited to take “A Walk in Their Shoes” on October 22nd. The walk will be held at the track that circles Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH). As they walk, participants will have an intimate look at domestic violence from the perspective of a victim. Start times will be 9:00am, 9:10am and 9:20am. Call to register for the time you would like to walk.
