Clarksville Parks and Recreations says Dive in with Discover SCUBA at the Indoor Aquatic Center

Clarksville, TN – As the Indoor Aquatic Center gears up for another indoor pool season, the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department invites you to try your hand at deep sea diving, right here in Clarksville!

The first Discover SCUBA class of the indoor season will take place on Saturday, October 5th at the Aquatic Center, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, just behind the Kleeman Community Center.

The Indoor Aquatic Center will be hosting Discover SCUBA on the first Saturday of each month from 1:00pm until 4:00pm as well as on the third Thursday of each month from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the Aquatic Center for those ages 10 and older.

Discover SCUBA is instructed by Rich Holladay of Waterdogs SCUBA & Safety, LLC, and gives participants a “trial run” of what it is like to scuba dive.

While not an actual scuba certification, during the Discover SCUBA experience you’ll learn how to use scuba equipment in shallow water and get a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.

Classes are $25.00 and can be paid for online at recpro.cityofclarksville.com or onsite at the pool. All scuba gear will be provided.
