Internet Safety Class for Parents at Fort Campbell

Fort Campbell's Morale, Welfare and Recreation - MWRFort Campbell, KY – Cyberbullying, exposure to inappropriate material, online predators, and revealing too much information – these are all online dangers that your children might encounter. The internet has drastically changed the way young people interact with the world.

Learning to recognize the warning signs of these risks will allow you to intervene and help make the internet a safer place for your Family.

Child, Youth and School Services offers an Internet Safety Class for parents that can help. This class will help you understand what your children are experiencing.

You will have the opportunity to learn how to use the tools that your children are using – social networking, instant messaging, webcams, and blogging. You will also learn how open a dialogue and hold a discussion about internet safety.

This class will be held on November 19th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at 5669 Screaming Eagle Boulevard in the Computer Training Room. There is no fee, but seating is limited, so you need to reserve a space.
