Austin Peay State University Governors Sports - APSUClarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University football team will have one more chance to break into the win column when they travel to Cookeville for a 1:30pm game with the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles.

APSU played a school-record three FBS programs in 2013, including opening the season against a pair of SEC and BCS schools in Tennessee (August 31st) and Vanderbilt (September 7th). The Govs played Ohio, September 21st.

In the Govs three FBS games against Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Ohio, the total attendance was 149,908. The Govs drew a total of 149,903 (home and away) in attendance during the 2012 season.

Austin Peay, which had scored just 56 points through the season’s first 10 games, exploded for 34 points against Southeast Missouri, the highest total in 2013.

Tennessee Tech comes off a bye week that allowed them to bask in a 41-16 victory at Southeast Missouri two weeks ago. It was the first positive outcome in a while for the Golden Eagles, who had lost five in a row entering the SEMO game.
