Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay athletics has announced “Inside Austin Peay Basketball” with head coaches Dave Loos and Carrie Daniels will begin 6:00pm, Wednesday at The Gilroy in downtown Clarksville.
“Inside Austin Peay Basketball” will be hosted by David Loos on select Wednesday nights throughout the season. The live one-hour radio show will feature an inside look at the Govs and Lady Govs to include game recaps, along with comments and discussion with both head coaches.
Daniels and the Lady Govs are 2-3 overall and amidst a five-game home stand. Coming off a loss to Evansville, the Austin Peay women’s team will play host to Central Arkansas, 7:00pm, Saturday at the Dunn Center.
Sophomore guard Tiasha Gray has been the early story for the Lady Govs, averaging 16.5 ppg along with 5.8 rebounds and 7 assists per game.
The Govs, meanwhile, are 3-3 and fresh off a 78-72 win against Montana State. Loos’ team continues on the road, 6:05pm, Saturday, at Youngstown State before returning the Dunn Center, December 4th, to host East Tennessee.
Sophomore Chris Horton, who is averaging a double-double (11.8 ppg/10.2 rpg), was named College Sports Madness Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week, Monday.
