Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) is stocked and ready to clear roadways of ice and snow this season.
Over the last several weeks, salt supplies have been replenished in all 95 counties, and crews have readied snow plows and brine trucks for the winter season.

Clarksville, TN – The National Weather Service has issued an ice storm warning in effect from 9:00am Friday until 12:00am Saturday, with the potential for additional icing Saturday night into Sunday morning.
With this storm comes the potential for power outages from downed trees and power lines.

Clarksville, TN – The Tennessee Highway Patrol, Clarksville Police Department, and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office conducted impaired driving saturation patrols November 29th-30th, 2013, partially funded by the Governor’s Highway Safety Office.
During this time, there were 267 charges issued.
