Clarksville Police reports Pedestrian killed in hit and run Accident on Tylertown Road Near Roscommon Way

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Early Saturday morning, December 14th, 2014, the Clarksville Police Department responded to an accident involving a pedestrian on Tylertown Road near Roscommon Way. A citizen walking on Tylertown in route to work discovered the pedestrian’s body at 5:11am this morning.

Officers arrived on scene and determined that the individual was struck by a vehicle. The vehicle left the scene.

The CPD’s FACT team was called out to work the accident. There are no witnesses and we have no suspect(s) leads at this time.

The roadway was shut down from the time of the call until 9:50am.

The deceased subject was a white male and was in the military. The lead investigator is Officer Larry Harris. There is no further information at this time.
