Clarksville’s Dunbar Cave State Park to host 1st Hike of 2014

Dunbar Cave State Park - Clarksville TNClarksville, TN – Join us as on January 1st as we begin the first day of the new year at Dunbar Cave with our first hike through the woods and around the lake.

Start your birding “Year List” with the chance to see herons, hawks, kingfishers, owls, waterfowl and other birds – or just come out, get some exercise and look for deer and other creatures.

This moderate 1 mile hike is suitable for all ages. Meet at the Visitor Center for this 8:00am hike.

Be prepared for cold, but the hike will be canceled in case of bad road conditions (ice or snow).

Call 931.648.5526 before 4:30pm December 31st to make your reservations (space is limited so reservations are required).
