Clarksville Police Department reports Motorcycle Fatality on Peachers Mill Road

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Sunday, January 12th, 2014 at approximately 12:41am, on Peachers Mill Road just past the bridge, a motorcycle traveling South driven by Andrew S. Hafen, age 24 of Clarksville, departed the roadway and crashed.

Clarksville Gas and Water reports Section of Nottingham Placed Closed for Water Main Repair

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has closed Nottingham Place from Tobacco Road to Short Street to repair a water main leak. The road will be closed to traffic until approximately 7:00pm. Motorists will be detoured to Tobacco Road.

Area residents may experience low water pressure or periods of water loss during the repair work.

Tennessee New Parents to receive Book teaching Safe Sleep for Infants

 

Tennessee Department of Health Partners with Tennessee Hospitals, Charlie’s Kids Foundation

Tennessee Department of Health - TDOHNashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Health is partnering with the Charlie’s Kids Foundation and Tennessee hospitals to provide teaching materials to help new parents and hospital staff members learn the “ABCs of safe sleep.”

TDH will provide hospitals that join the project with copies of the Sleep Baby Safe and Snug board book for each baby born in their facility in 2014.

The Tennessee Department of Health has purchased 86,000 copies of Sleep Baby Safe and Snug and will provide copies for each baby born in partner hospitals in 2014.
