After breaking the school record in her inaugural run at the MT Christmas Invitational, December 7th, she lowered the mark with a 24.82 in the prelims last weekend and then further still with a blistering 24.57 mark in the finals.

Not only is Davis’ time an Austin Peay best, it’s the top mark by an OVC athlete this season.

She’s the first Lady Gov to take a weekly indoor track honor since Breigh Jones took the February 19th, 2013 honor after placing third in the 400m dash at the Buckeye Tune-Up.

Davis and the rest of the Lady Govs return to the track Friday, January 24th, at the Gladstein Invitational in Bloomington, IN.
