Land Between the Lakes to give Free Admission with Military Pass for 2014 Season

Land Between the Lakes - LBLGolden Pond, KY – For the 2014 season, Land Between The Lakes (LBL) will accept the Military Pass for free admission, Monday through Friday, to The Homeplace, Golden Pond Planetarium, and Woodlands Nature Station.

The Military Pass will admit the pass holder plus three other individuals free of charge to these facilities weekdays only. Free admission will not be granted during any special event by using the Military Pass.

The passes are currently available at the Golden Pond Visitor Center and, beginning in March, at North and South Welcome Stations.

Current identification for active duty military or active duty dependent status will be required to be issued a pass, and identification may be required when the Military Pass is used.

All branches of service are included in this Military Pass program including Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and activated National Guard and Reserves.

In addition to LBL, the pass is accepted at National Park Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Reclamation, Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Forest Service and U.S. Army Corps sites that charge entrance or standard amenity fees. There is no fee for entry into Land Between The Lakes.

Come Outside and Play at Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area, managed by the Forest Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture. Land Between The Lakes provides outdoor recreation, lake access, and environmental education for the public to enjoy.
