The Lady Govs will face a mix of Division I competition and athletes from upper-tier Division II schools. Among these will be athletes from host Ohio State, Ohio, Cincinnati, Wright State, Miami (Ohio) and Marshall.

Six school indoor records already have been broken during the 2014 indoor season, two of which now belong to junior Erika Adams, who broke the 55m (7.05 seconds) and the 60m (7.65) in back-to-back weeks.

Her 55m mark rated out to 60m ranks her third in the Ohio Valley Conference with a week remaining before the OVC Indoor Championships.

Maikea DavisJunior transfer Maikea Davis has made her mark since arriving from Western Kentucky. She owns the school 200m dash record, set during her third-place run at the ETSU Invite January 17th (24.57). Her 24.80  converted to 24.42 for track size at the SIU Invitational ranks second in the OVC entering the weekend.

Both relay squads have set school marks this season. Davis, freshman Terri Morris and sophomores Breigh Jones and Kymmalett Ross broke the 4x400m record earlier this month at the TSU Invitational (3:47.04), while Ross, senior Xiamar Hudson, junior Jessica Gray and freshman Molly Jordan shattered the distance medley record by more than seven seconds at the ETSU Invite (12:20.15).

Breigh JonesJones (fourth, 55.98) and Morris (fifth, 57.70 converted to 56.95 for track size) are also top five contenders in the 400m run entering the weekend.

Freshman Amia Butler picked up the indoor pentathlon record, running the first known attempt in Austin Peay history, with her sixth-place finish at the Gladstein Invitational, January 25th.

Austin Peay next heads to Nashville for the OVC Indoor Championships, February 28th-March 1st, hosted by Tennessee State.
