Rossview Lady Hawks Fall to Lady Bears, Take Second Place in Region 5-AAA Tournament

 

Rossview High School HawksClarksville, TN – On paper, the Rossview Lady Hawks and the Mt. Juliet Lady Bears look a lot alike. They both have smothering defenses, smart guards and a dominating post game.

As a result, the Region 5-AAA Tournament Championship game at Rossview Wednesday, February 26th, a showdown between two district number one seeds, came down to which team executed their game better.

Clarksville Police and Clarksville Fire Rescue send a Boy from Rhode Island Happy Birthday Wishes

The CPD invited Fire Fighters, from the Clarksville Fire Department, and one of their Fire Trucks to be included in this picture.

They all met in front of Police Headquarters to wish, 6 year old, Tyler Seddon a Happy Birthday, by sending this picture to him.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation Facilities’ Hours to Change in Observance of Clarksville Montgomery County School System’s Spring Break

 

It’s about that time again! Spring Break fun is just around the corner!

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville’s three community centers will adjust their hours of operation this Spring Break to accommodate students in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System and their holiday schedule.

Clarksville Gas and Water reports Water Outages on Daniel Street and Ridgewood Road

Austin Peay State University choral activities gain International Reputation

 

Austin Peay State University - APSUClarksville, TN – In early February, Dr. Korre Foster, director of choral activities at Austin Peay State University, turned on his computer to watch a live broadcast of the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir (TMC).

The acclaimed, 100-year-old choir is one of the largest and most respected choral organizations in Canada, but that evening, Foster was more interested in watching one of the guest conductors – APSU graduate student Zach Thompson.
