Dr. Merriel Bullock-Neal to announce candidacy for Juvenile Court Judge

Election 2014Clarksville, TN – On March 29th, 2014 Dr. Merriel Bullock-Neal will officially announce her candidacy for Montgomery County, Tennessee Juvenile Court Judge at The Custom House Museum, 200 South Second, Street Clarksville, TN at 1:00pm.

Dr. Merriel Bullock-Neal aspires to become a Juvenile Court Judge to address the many issues confronting the Montgomery County community.

When elected, her goals are to be fair and impartial, maintain judiciary independence, exercise both state and federal constitutional obligations to uphold the rule of law, and guarantee due process to both plaintiffs and defendants.

As a general practitioner in the area of civil and criminal law, she has litigated cases in General Sessions Court, Juvenile Court, Circuit Court, Chancery Court, Court of Appeals and US District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee.

Additionally, she  has served as Guardian ad Litem, Solititor ad Litem, and a defense attorney in Juvenile Court. She is also licensed as a school psychologist and special educator.

“I believe my background makes me uniquely qualified to serve, and to celebrate my campaign, I am asking all my friends, supporters, and those who are curious to know more about me, to please join me on this special day,” according to Bullock -Neal.
