The Unlovable Wife / The Unrespectable Husband

Kris WolfeClarksville, TN – When I say life is hard sometimes it’s so you will know that nobody’s life is perfect and so that you will pray for me as (perhaps) I have prayed for you (maybe without even mentioning it to you).

But I don’t deny that I am blessed. Here are a few things I am thankful for right now: My 13 year old for taking up for his brother this week, my 10 year old for being intentional about reading the Bible (he decided to study Mark this week), the time and money to workout (my reprieve!), and my husband who loves me when I am mean, critical and (feeling) unlovable.

Tough weekend. Life is hard sometimes «Read the rest of this article»

Austin Peay State University’s Governors Stadium grows in front of players eyes during spring practice

APSU Sports Information

APSU - Austin Peay State University SportsClarksville, TN – As new Governors Stadium is being built right in front of its eyes, Austin Peay State University’s football team will begin spring practice, Tuesday, April 1st, in the stadium.

Yes, a few short weeks ago it would have impossible for the Govs to look at the field and even consider practicing.  Long trenches were cut across the field to allow conduit and electrical cables to be installed. Heavy equipment was parked on different areas of the field. APSU will not be able to use the entire field—in particular the home side—but they will have enough field available on the east side to provide adequate areas.
