The Indoor Aquatic Center, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, has once again partnered to host two not-so-typical egg hunts.

On Saturday, April 12th, thousands of colored eggs will be floating or sunk in the center’s pools, each good for candy and prizes. An adaptive egg hunt will be offered for children and adults with special needs from 10:00am until noon.  Another hunt will follow for children ages 1 to 12 from 1:00pm to 7:00pm.

To help families as they plan to attend the Wettest Egg Hunts, the schedule for the day will be as follows:

10:00am: Ages 1-2 (23 remaining spots), Ages 5-11 (71 remaining spots)
11:00am: Ages 3-4 (22 remaining spots), Ages 12 and older  (73 remaining spots)
1:00pm: Ages 1-2 (1 remaining spot), Ages 5-8 (3 remaining spots)

These events are free and will include refreshments and activities such as egg coloring, an obstacle course and other games.  Pre-registration for the Wettest Egg Hunts is required and can be completed online at recpro.cityofclarksville.com

Deadline to register for Youth Recreation Leagues is March 28th

You can register your child online at recpro.cityofclarksville.com, at any of our community centers or at the Main office now through March 28. The baseball, softball, and t-ball league is open to youth ages 5 to 14.

Once again, Blastball® will be offered for the 3 and 4 year olds. This fun alternative to traditional t-ball uses a “honking” base to entertain younger players- adding excitement to the game. It concentrates on developing a child’s running, hitting, catching, fielding, and throwing skills.

The cost to play is $40.00 per child and includes a team shirt, hat, and medal.
