A trio of Govs earned singles wins in a battle between the 2013 OVC regular season and tournament champions. Junior Aleksas Tverijonas was thorough in his demolition of Vasily Eremeev at No. 3 singles, with the Lithuanian romping in a 6-0, 6-1 win.

Junior Iago Seffrin made it three straight singles victories after an auspicious 0-8 start, defeating Gagan Jain, 6-2, 7-5 in the No. 4 singles slot.
