Clarksville Candidate for Mayor Bill Summers to present at Sunset Rotary Club Meeting

Election 2014Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Ward 10 Councilman Bill Summers will be presenting at the Sunset Rotary Club’s weekly meeting on Tuesday, April 15th, at 6:30pm.

Summers’ presentation will cover the infrastructure needs of Clarksville in relation to the city’s growth. He will address topics including Clarksville’s police staffing, fire station needs, and road improvements. Summers believes that proactive infrastructure planning is directly linked to the economic well-being of Clarksville and that the City needs to address these issues.

The Sunset Rotary Club Meeting is from 5:30pm-7:00pm at The Looking Glass Restaurant at 329 Warfield Boulevard in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Summers has served as the city councilman for Ward 10 since 2007, after defeating an experienced incumbent, and won re-election in 2010 to his current second term with over 81% of the vote. He announced his campaign for the Mayor of Clarksville in November 2013.
