Memory Lane Cruisers will exhibit of classic cars of all types. A variety of makes and models will be on display for the enjoyment of the public. Expect to see classic cars, street rods, muscle cars, classic trucks and other special interest vehicles.

The Rivers and Spires Children’s Parade will start at 1:00pm at the Kids Zone in front of First Baptist Church. This event has been entertaining children 12-years-old and under and their families for 10 years now. Characters in costume, small floats and walkers are all part of the annual Children’s Parade.

One of the founding goals of the Rivers and Spires Festival is to honor our Soldiers. With this mission in mind, they have started the Military Appreciation Area located on 2nd and Commerce Street. While we have always had military exhibits, displays and demonstrations throughout the Festival, this year they will all come together in one central location.

Second Street and the Courthouse parking lot will be host to the “USAA Military Appreciation Area: Honoring Our Heroes Past, Present and Future”. Experience this area like never before. Children of all ages will delight in the interactive displays and activities. Everyone can feel a sense of pride when they see the dedication and commitment these Soldiers have to their country.

The Rivers and Spires Marketplace has everything from eclectic novelty items to clothing and jewelry. The Marketplace runs Saturday from Saturday 10:00am to 8:00pm.

If you have not been by, then you will definitely want to check out the Gig City Gaming Area sponsored by CDE Lightband. It is an area for adults and children of all ages to play interactive multi-player games. It features over 50+ titles to play so there will be plenty of gaming for everyone.  The gaming center is located in the underground parking garage on Franklin Street between Second and Third Streets.

Closing out the festival this year is CMA award-nominated country musician, Randy Houser. He hits the Public Square Stage at 7:00pm. The concert is free and open to the public.

He will perform some of his biggest hits that have made him one of Country music’s most popular new comers. Songs such as “Goodnight Kiss”, “How Country Feels”, “Boots On” and “Runnin’ Outta Moonlight ” will make up a concert you don’t want to miss.

So why are you still sitting there at your computer. Get up, get dressed and come on down to the final day of Rivers and Spires.
