Clarksville Police report Pedestrian Fatality on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Sunday, April 27th, 2014 at 2:29am, 30 year old Kyle J. Prezlomski, a current Clarksville resident, was found lying on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard by approaching motorists. He was taken to Gateway Medical Center where he died from his injuries.

Nashville Completes First Winning Road Trip Since 2011

Nashville SoundsOklahoma City, OK – Jimmy Nelson worked his fifth straight quality start and Nashville batters slugged three homers for the second straight game to propel the Sounds to an 8-5 victory over the Oklahoma City RedHawks in the finale of a four-game series on Sunday afternoon at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

With the victory, the Sounds wrapped up their first winning multiple-series road trip since August 2011, closing the swing with a 5-3 mark. Nashville (12-11) now possesses a winning record for the first time since the third day of the season.

Austin Peay State University Governors - APSUMuscle Shoals, AL – Austin Peay State University senior golfer Marco Iten will advance to the NCAA Regional but unfortunately without his teammates.

Iten, who was leading at 8-under (68-68=136) after the Ohio Valley Conference championship second round, was declared medalist late Sunday afternoon after rains and lightning twice halted the event, being played at The Fighting Joe Course at The Shoals.

An intense and slow moving storm system will bring the potential for severe weather to the mid state three days in a row, starting this afternoon.

National Astronomy Day at LBL’s Golden Pond Planetarium
