Nashville, TN -The red-hot Nashville Sounds plated a run in the bottom of the eleventh inning to hang a 6-5 defeat on the New Orleans Zephyrs on Thursday evening at Greer Stadium in the finale of a four-game series.
Nashville (15-12), which is tied for first place and has been victorious in six of the last seven games, took three of four from the Zephyrs.
The Sounds lost a four-run lead in the late innings as New Orleans rallied against the Nashville bullpen to force extras before the home team triumphed in its longest game of the year.
Fort Campbell, KY – Campbell Crossing’s 2014 Earth Day event was a huge success over the weekend. Clarksville, TN – On April 26th, 2014, 19 year old April Madison was shot in the back at the Red Zone on College Street. The injury has paralyzed her from the waist down.
19 year old Taivaun Bell, who was being sought by Clarksville Police for questioning in the shooting, has turned himself in for his Aggravated Burglary charge. CPD is still requesting information in regards to the shooting.
