Pagnozzi Homers Twice, Velez Drives In Four For First-Place Nashville
Colorado Springs, CO – Catcher Matt Pagnozzi belted a pair of home runs and Eugenio Velez collected four RBIs to lead the Nashville Sounds to a 9-7 victory over the Colorado Springs Sky Sox on Friday evening at Security Service Field in the finale of a four-game series.
The Sounds (19-16) — who moved back into first place by a half-game over the Round Rock Express — plated seven unanswered runs at one point en route to the victory, which snapped the club’s four-game losing streak. Nashville’s nine runs marked a season high for the club.

Clarksville, TN – Arxavier Dezhay Osborne, a person of interest (not a suspect at at this time) for the shooting on April 26th, 2014 at the Red Zone on College Street, was arrested and booked into Montgomery County Jail yesterday, May 8th, 2014.
He is a 19 year old Clarksville resident. Osborne had an outstanding warrant on file of Aggravated Robbery and also, Evading Arrest, Simple Possession, and UDP (unlawful drug paraphernalia). His bond is set at $41,000.

Clarksville Police Department announces Hands Across the Border Sobriety Roadside Safety checkpoints, Saturation Patrols May 16th-17th
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department, Tennessee Highway Patrol, Kentucky State Police, Christian County Sheriff’s Department, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department, Hopkinsville Police Department and Oak Grove Police Department will be conducting roadside safety checkpoints and saturation patrols on May 16th, and May 17th, 2014 in Montgomery County, Tennessee and Christian County, Kentucky.
Clarksville, TN – Dustin Owen didn’t spend much time outside as a child. While other boys stomped through creeks chasing lizards and frogs, he stared out the window of his parents’ Indiana home, wishing away the severe allergies that kept him trapped indoors.
As he slowly grew out of his allergies, allowing a 10-year-old Owen to finally venture outside, he decided to make up for lost time. He threw himself into the wild, tracking down turtles and snakes and other creatures his mother appreciated but didn’t particularly care for.

She replaced Hope Petersen, who accepted the Supervisor Position at the Robertson County 911 Center.
The Dispatch Director position plays a vital role in the emergency response process.
