Waverly Central High School wins Tennessee State High School Fishing Championship on Lake Chickamauga
Dayton, TN – The Waverly Central High School team of Dylan Fuller and Caleb Conrad brought a five-bass limit to the scale Saturday weighing 25 pounds, 7 ounces to win the 2014 Tennessee State High School Fishing Championship on Lake Chickamauga.
The win earned the team the title of state champions and qualified the team to compete in a future High School Fishing conference championship.

Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds proved once again why scoring first usually means a victory in a 4-1 win over the Iowa Cubs at Greer Stadium Monday night.
Nashville is now 24-9 when getting on the board before the opposition, including a 16-1 record when doing so at home.
The Sounds scored the all-important first runs in the bottom of the second with a two-out rally, which was started by a Matt Pagnozzi single. Third baseman Taylor Green and pitcher Taylor Jungmann then followed with RBI singles to give Nashville a 2-0 advantage.

Clarksville, TN – Today, June 2nd, 2014 at 12:40pm, the Clarksville Police Department responded to a vehicle collision on Fort Campbell Boulevard at the intersection of Park Lane.
A gray Honda CRV and a white Chevrolet Malibu were traveling northbound on Fort Campbell Boulevard when the driver of a green Pontiac Firebird Firehawk Trans, traveling southbound, began to swerve into their lane.
