Tennessee Bureau of Investigation adds Cashman Perkins of Hamilton County to TBI’S Top Ten Most Wanted List

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has a new addition to the state’s Top Ten Most Wanted list, Cashman Jamar Perkins of Chattanooga, TN.

Cashman Jamar Perkins is wanted by the Chattanooga Police Department and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for Criminal Homicide, Aggravated Domestic Assault and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.

The Bedford County Sheriff’s Department has obtained an arrest warrant for Perkins for Failure to Appear on an Unlawful Possession of a Weapon charge.

Additionally, Perkins is wanted by the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office for Violation of Probation for Possession of Marijuana.

On June 8th, 2014, Chattanooga Police responded to Woodland View Circle in Chattanooga after Cashman Perkins, age 31, fatally shot 40 year old, Francis Smith. The motive and exact circumstances surrounding this homicide is currently under investigation.

Cashman Perkins, of Hamilton County, has a last known address of 1100 Willow Street in Chattanooga. He is described as an African American male with a bald head and brown eyes. Perkins has tattoos on both hands and his right shoulder. He is approximately 5 foot 3 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds.

Perkins has a criminal history of drug possession and illegal weapon possessions. Perkins is considered to be armed and dangerous.
