Nashville, TN – The first-place Nashville Sounds (38-32) were held to two hits in Saturday night’s 2-1 loss to the Tacoma Rainiers before 8,287 fans at Greer Stadium.
Right-handed pitcher Taijuan Walker (1-1) guided Tacoma from the hill, twice cruising through the Sounds line-up to carry a no-hit bid through the 6th inning. With one out in the 7th, Sounds first baseman Sean Halton recorded the team’s first hit with a single into right field.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation to host 2nd Annual Rally on the Cumberland Canoe and Kayak Race, July 12th

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department will host the Canoe and Kayak Race on July 12th at Liberty Park.
The race will be held in heats beginning at 8:00am at the Montgomery County Conservation Club, located at 1182 Seven Mile Ferry Road, and finishing at Freedom Point in Liberty Park.
Paris, TN – The sixth and final regular-season event in the 19th season of the major leagues of professional bass-fishing, the Walmart FLW Tour, kicks off June 26th-29th with the Walmart FLW Tour at Kentucky Lake presented by Evinrude.
Hosted by the Henry County Alliance, the tournament will feature a full field of the world’s best bass-fishing pros and co-anglers casting for top awards of up to $125,000 cash in the pro division and up to $25,000 cash in the co-angler division.
Fort Campbell, KY – Join the Fort Campbell community for our June Eagle Challenge Fitness Tour event. Fort Campbell MWR, along with 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) and the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne), will host a Warrior Challenge on June 21st.
This is Fort Campbell’s second annual mud run and this year’s course will bring different obstacles, along with a new set of fears to overcome! You will have to muscle, run, jump, climb and crawl your way through nearly six miles of challenging terrain.

Because I believe in putting all cards on the table and because I want the community to know who I am as a person, I would like to share with you how I became the person I am today.
Like most of us, I had to go through tough times, challenges, and deal with the consequences of poor decisions I made in the past.
