Campbell Crossing Hosts Annual Summer Carnival Event

Campbell CrossingFort Campbell, KY – Campbell Crossing, Lend Lease’s privatized military housing community located on Fort Campbell, will host its annual Summer Carnival on Saturday, June 21st from 1:00 p.m.-4:00p.m. The free resident event will provide families the opportunity to meet their neighbors and enjoy an afternoon of fun activities for the entire family.

You do not want to miss this year’s event! We will have carnival games, fortune tellers, stilt walkers, and face painting. You can even get your character portrait done by a professional artist! There will be music playing, great raffle prizes, and free food to enjoy throughout the afternoon.

Since it is summertime, we cannot forget about fun water activities. Our splash park will be ready for all kids and you will not want to miss out on the waterslide!

Be sure to stop by our SYNERGY booth at this year’s event. SYNERGY is an initiative designed to provide Campbell Crossing families an understanding of the impacts of energy usage and consumption, as well as techniques and methods that help us reduce total energy consumption in our everyday lives.  Bring your kids by our booth to learn how they can join the SYNERGY Troops and make a pledge to become more sustainable today!

The event kicks off at 1:00 pm sharp at The Village Commons at Hammond Heights, located at 3065 Forrest Road. For more information on this event, please contact your community office or visit our website at www.campbellcrossingllc.com.

About Campbell Crossing

Campbell Crossing LLC, the partnership between developer Lend Lease and the Department of the Army, is the premier housing community for the Soldiers and families of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and home to the first zero-energy homes project ever constructed on a military installation. Since then, the Community has received numerous recognitions, including the Army’s 2012 RCI Project of the Year, National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) National Green Building Award and the National Council for Public-Private Partnerships Innovation Award. Lend Lease will own, manage, renovate, develop, and sustain the more than 4,500 homes of Campbell Crossing until 2053. www.campbellcrossingllc.com
