Matt Pagnozzi Belts Three-Run Homer To Provide Nashville Offense In Loss
Round Rock, TX – The Round Rock Express scored four unanswered runs to hang a 4-3 loss on the Nashville Sounds on Saturday evening at The Dell Diamond.
With the defeat, Nashville’s lead in the PCL American Conference Southern Division was reduced to a half-game over the Express.
Mike Fiers (6-4) took the loss despite turning in a quality start for the Sounds, allowing two earned runs (four total runs) on four hits while striking out eight and not walking a batter in his seven frames of work.

Montgomery County Parks and Recreation announces Rotary Park Sewer Project to begin Monday, July 7th
Montgomery County, TN – The Montgomery County Parks and Recreation Department would like to make the public aware of a gravity sewer project, by the Clarksville Gas and Water Department, at Rotary Park that will begin on Monday, July 7th.
This project will have several phases, including easement clearing, rock blasting and general construction. The park will remain open for normal operation hours during the course of this project. The project is expected to be completed by spring 2015.

160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment bids farewell to regiment commander during ceremony at Fort Campbell

Fort Campbell, KY – Night Stalkers, family members and friends of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) said farewell to Col. John R. Evans, Jr, during a change of command ceremony conducted on the General Bryan Brown Compound, June 27th.
More than 250 Soldiers from across the regiment stood in formation as Col. Evans passed the colors to Col. Michael Hertzendorf. Brig. Gen. Erik Peterson, Commander, United States Army Special Operations Aviation Command, presided over the event.
Columbus is third in the league in total offense and second in scoring offense. Nashville is second in the league in total defense and is only giving up 42.1 points per game which is tops in the league.
