Fresh from the grill hamburger and hot dog lunches were served with all proceeds going to the program.

In addition, donations were collected throughout the day. “As Realtors, our careers are based on helping families. We have a long history of giving back to our community and assisting those in need,” said Randy Worcester, President of the Clarksville Association of Realtors.

Last year, the same event raised $7,500 for the F.U.E.L. Program. This year’s goal was to reach $8,000. The local realtors met and exceeded that goal and raised $8,676.

Proceeds from the event will go towards the F.U.E.L. Program and help ensure that food is provided for hungry school children. A check presentation ceremony was held at the June Membership Meeting of the Clarksville Association of Realtors.

Katie Griffin, Charity Relations Committee Chair, said “We are so thankful to the community for coming out and supporting FUEL.” To date, the Clarksville Association of Realtors has raised over $54,000 for the F.U.E.L. Program.
