Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds won their fifth straight game on Saturday night at Greer Stadium, triumphing 8-1 over the Oklahoma City RedHawks to thrill a crowd of 8,722 fans.
Left fielder Sean Halton powered a 12-hit Nashville attack with a 2-for-4 evening that included a pair of doubles and three RBIs. Catcher Shawn Zarraga also went 2-for-4 with three runs driven in on the night.

New Orleans, LA – Youth from Clarksville, Tennessee embarked on an educational excursion that began with touring Jackson Square and visiting the 1850 House, Cabildo, and Presbytre where they learned about New Orleans rich history and sampled some of its fine cuisine.
The next day the group visited the Aquarium, and Insectarium where some got to sample gourmet insects before enjoying shops and sights of Magazine St.

Warner Robins, Ga – In a game for the record books, one of the longest ever played at the Southeast Regionals, Clarksville National played a defensive thriller at the Little League Southeast Regionals Friday against a Pioneer, GA team 3-2 in ten innings.
The game started one hour late due to a rain delay.
In the first inning Georgia was up first. Tennessee’s defense played lights out with two highlight plays by #6 Molly Goins at 2nd base. She had an over the shoulder catch and then came back and threw a girl out at first from her knees.
‘Grease’ to play at Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s Movies in the Park tonight at Liberty Park, July 26th
Clarksville, TN – Tonight, Saturday, July 26th, Movies in the Park, the City of Clarksville’s outdoor movie series, will feature ‘Grease’ at Liberty Park, 1190 Cumberland Drive, Clarksville. Movies in the Park is free to attend and put on by Clarksville Parks and Recreation.
‘Grease,’ rated PG will be shown at approximately 8:15pm (dependent on sunset). Activities begin at 7:15pm and include karaoke with Clarksville Parks and Recreation and soccer demonstrations with the Clarksville Soccer Club.
