Cunningham, TN – Hillary Nudeson spoke on behalf of Lamar Alexander Saturday, July 27th, 2014, at the 106th Annual Lone Oak Picnic held by the Central Civitan Club.
“I want to thank everyone for being here today. It’s a beautiful day. I want to also thank the Lone Oak Picnic for being around this long and so properous,” said Nudeson. “The Civitan club is certainly a great organization in the area.”
“We are working hard to repeal, defund and dismantle Obama Care from top to bottom. Lamar has voted against Obama Care 100% of the time,” stated Nudeson.
Fort Campbell, KY – Callee’s Too Sports Bar, located at 1962 Fort Campbell Boulevard, has been placed on the Fort Campbell Off-Limits list following a shooting that occurred in the early hours of July 31st.
The decision to place Callee’s Too on the list was made due to conditions existing at the establishment that are deemed detrimental to the health, welfare and safety of Fort Campbell Soldiers and their Families.
The Off-Limits action is intended to prevent Soldiers and their Families from being exposed to or victimized by crime-conducive conditions and to provide a reasonably safe environment for them. «Read the rest of this article»

“This is the 106th year for this great picnic. I have been coming here I don’t know when,” said Mayor McMillan. “Thank you all for coming out here and supporting this great cause. I know the barbecue is wonderful and the hospitality is superb.”
Clarksville, TN – The last week of July has been eventful on a number of fronts. The economic calendar was packed, geopolitical tensions intensified and Argentina teetered on the edge of default, eventually going over. This is the second time the South American country has defaulted on its debt in the past 13 years.
The default may be short-lived if Argentina can reach an agreement to pay its missed $1.5 billion interest payment.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water will turn off water service on Edmondson Ferry Road at 9:00am from Ashland City Road to Greenwood Avenue to repair a water valve. The outage will also affect Caldwell Lane, Williams Lane and Maddox Court.
Edmondson Ferry Road will also be closed to one lane from Church Drive to Ashland City Road. The work is anticipated to be finished by approximately 1:00pm.
