Clarksville Parks and Recreation now taking registrations for Youth Basketball League

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – Is your child interested in playing basketball this winter? Clarksville Parks and Recreation is proud to offer a Youth Basketball League for boys and girls ages 7 to 15.

The cost is $65.00 per player. Each player will receive a jersey, water bottle and award.

Registration for the league continues through October 6th. Registration is available online at recpro.cityofclarksville.com.

Registration is also available at the Kleeman Community Center, Crow Community Center and Burt-Cobb Community Center, as well as at the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Main Office located at 102 Public Square.

The Main Office is open from 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. Registrants must bring their birth certificate for age verification if they are registering for this program for the first time.

Practices will be held at local school gymnasiums beginning November 3rd and games will be held at the City’s three community centers beginning December 6th. Parents should be contacted by their coach prior to the start of games to let them know where and when their child will practice.

If you’re also interested in a leadership role on the court, Clarksville Parks and Recreation is seeking Youth League coaches. Parks and Recreation will offer coaches’ training on October 14th and 16th at 6:00pm at Freedom Point at Liberty Park. All interested coaches may contact Athletic Coordinator, Albert Casillas, at the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Main Office.
