Rossview Lady Hawks Soccer shutouts Henry County Lady Patriots 3-0, Advances To District 10-AAA Tournament Finals

This time they squared off as the second and third seeds in the semifinal round of the District 10-AAA Tournament.

However the outcome was the same. The Lady Hawks shutout the Lady Patriots 3-0 to advance to the tournament finals.

Fort Campbell MWR Aquatics to offer Lifeguarding Class

 

Fort Campbell's Morale, Welfare and Recreation - MWRFort Campbell, KY – Gardner Indoor Pool is offering a lifeguard class October 13th-17th (Clarksville/Montgomery County fall break). Class meets from 8:00am to 4:00pm. daily.

The cost for the Lifeguard Class is $120.00 and this includes a CPR certification. All students must be at least 15 years of age prior to the final scheduled session of the course.

Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan takes part in Tennessee Silver Jackets Charter Signing Ceremony

 

City of Clarksville - Clarksville, TNClarksville, TN – Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan recently joined Nashville Mayor Karl Dean and a host of others to celebrate the signing of the Tennessee Silver Jackets Charter.

A federal program, Silver Jackets is implemented by a participating state which then organizes a team of cooperating agencies, including federal, state and local agencies.

Federal, State and local agencies gathered at Metro Nashville’s Development Services Center to form a group partnership to help reduce flood reduction Sept. 23, 2014.  Silver Jackets is an innovative program that provides an opportunity to consistently bring together multiple state, federal, and local agencies to learn from one another and apply their knowledge to reduce risk.

Clarksville Police report Bomb Threat Call at the Montgomery County Court House

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Today, October 8th, 2014 at 11:15am, the Clarksville Police Department responded to a bomb threat call at the Montgomery County Court House. The bomb threat was made by an anonymous phone call to 911.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office cleared the call after sweeping the building. The Clarksville Fire and Rescue and EMS were on stand-by along with the CPD and the MCSO. This is an ongoing investigation. There is no further information at this time.

Clarksville Gas and Water Department reports Greenfield Drive Water Outage

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has turned off water service on Greenfield Drive for water main repair. Area residents may also experience low water pressure during the work.

The repair is anticipated to be finished by approximately 1:00pm. The road is open to traffic.
