Clarksville Gas and Water reschedules Madison Street and Porters Bluff Road Water Outage

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has rescheduled today’s water valve replacement work on Madison Street and Porters Bluff Road to Wednesday, November 19th, 2014 at 8:00am due to weather conditions.

Water service will be turned off for approximately four hours on Madison Street from Pageant Lane to Golf Club Lane and on Porters Bluff Road from Madison Street to East Porters Bluff Road. Area residents may also experience low water pressure during the work.

The outer westbound lane of Madison Street will also be closed to traffic from Maple Street to Porters Bluff Road and Porters Bluff will be closed from Madison Street to East Porters Bluff Road. Traffic will be detoured to Maple Street and East Porters Bluff Road.

The valve replacement is anticipated to be finished and the water restored and all roads reopened by approximately 12:00pm.
