Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University men’s basketball game scheduled for 6:00pm (CT), Tuesday, against Eastern Kentucky has been postponed because of snow and icy weather conditions blasting both Tennessee and Kentucky, Monday.
The contest has been rescheduled for 6:00pm, (CT), Monday, February 23rd, in Richmond.
Fort Campbell, KY – Fort Campbell will be closed Tuesday, February 17th due to inclement weather.
All Fort Campbell schools have been cancelled.
Only inclement weather and mission essential personnel should report to work.
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department reports there have been twenty-four reported collisions since 9:00am. Four of those involved injuries. Patrol cars have gotten stuck in all three districts. Any street with a significant hill is a problem.
The most problematic areas right now are the 1200 block of Needmore Road, New Providence Road at the Cumberland River Bridge (Boot Hill), the South Bypass, and Tiny Town Road near Peachers Mill Road. Most of these areas involve the aforementioned significant hills.
Nashville, TN – The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued an ice storm warning, which is in effect until 9:00am CST Tuesday, February 17th, 2015 for the Clarksville-Montgomery County area as well as parts of Middle Tennessee. The winter storm warning has been cancelled.
An ice storm warning means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of ice accumulations will make travel dangerous or impossible.
Travel is strongly discouraged.
Clarksville, TN – Due to the weather, the Clarksville Police Department reports Traffic School held at Public Square tomorrow, February 17th, 2015 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm has been cancelled.
Anyone scheduled for the above mentioned class must call to reschedule.

Montgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Government Offices will be closed Tuesday, February 17th, due to hazardous road conditions.
Montgomery County Mayor Jim Durrett states, “To insure our county employees are safe, all county offices will be closed tomorrow. Emergency personnel will still report as scheduled.”
All courts cases scheduled for Tuesday will be rescheduled.
Clarksville, TN – Due to inclement weather and hazardous travel conditions, City of Clarksville offices will be closed on Tuesday, February 17th, 2015.
CDE, Gas and Water, Street Department and safety personnel will remain on duty and will continue to address emergency situations as they arise.
Offices are scheduled to open for regular business hours on Wednesday, February 18th, 2015.

Montgomery County, TN – Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, February 17th, 2015 due to hazardous road conditions.
Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University will be closed Tuesday, February 17th due to hazardous conditions caused by inclement weather.
This includes Fort Campbell and Springfield campuses.
All classes and activities are cancelled Tuesday, February 17th.
