Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools System has not made a decision on School for Wednesday, March 4th

Clarksville-Montgomery County School System - CMCSSMontgomery County, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County School System (CMCSS) has not made a decision yet about school tomorrow, Wednesday March 3rd.

CMCSS is closely monitoring the weather situation, which is expected to move into the county sometime tomorrow. The various weather services have a pretty wide time range for the system’s arrival – any where from 1:00pm to 6:00pm.

The best case would be to get in a half day of instruction since that won’t count as a missed day. It takes them three hours to complete all bus runs for elementary, middle and high school, so they have to take that into consideration as well.

Their main objective, though, is to ensure everyone’s safety.

That is why they are going to make the call in the morning with the most updated information. So, CMCSS apologizes in advance for your early morning wake up call, but whatever this latest winter storm has been named, they don’t know what time it will arrive in Montgomery County.
