Clarksville Police Department reports on street conditions and traffic accidents

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – EMA Director Jerry Buchanan closed the Emergency Operations Center at 10:00pm tonight. The EOC will reopen at 5:00am to monitor morning road conditions and calls for service.

From 4:00pm until 9:30pm, 49 crashes were reported to the E911 Center. Thirty-one of those crashes were inside the Clarksville city limits and eighteen were on county roads. «Read the rest of this article»

That’s all you can say about Austin Peay State University women’s basketball team’s nail-biting, back-and-forth, 72-69 opening-round loss to SIU Edwardsville in the 2015 Ohio Valley Conference Tournament at Municipal Auditorium.

The Lady Govs jumped out to an early lead and battled 40 minutes in a game and a season that came down to the final possession.

Clarksville Police releases streets weather update for Wednesday night, March 4th

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Crashes continue throughout the city. From 4:00pm to 7:00pm there have been 29 reported crashes inside the city limits. Five of those crashes involved injury. There have also been numerous crashes outside the city in Montgomery County.

Blanchfield Army Hospital - BACH - Fort Campbell KYFort Campbell, KY – With a severe winter storm expected to hit Fort Campbell beginning Wednesday afternoon March 4th, Blanchfield Army Community Hospital will be open for inpatient and emergencies services only Thursday, March 5th.

BACH will operate with mission essential inclement weather personnel only and therefore will continue to provide all inpatient services, including hospital admissions to the inpatient ward or Intensive Care Unit, Emergency services, and Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Mother/Baby unit services.
