Clarksville Police issues update to Shots Fired on Carpenter Street incident

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Monday evening, March 23rd, 2015 at 8:57pm, the Clarksville Police Department responded to a shots fired call on Carpender Street. Originally, it was reported there were four injured but CPD now reports five injury victims.

Two were transported by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and two were transported by EMS to Gateway Medical Center. No further information on the fifth victim.

There is no further information at this time.

Clarksville Police report Shots Fired on Carpenter Street

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Monday evening, March 23rd, 2015 at 8:57pm, the Clarksville Police Department responded to a shots fired call on Carpender Street. There were four serious injuries and two victims were transported by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

The suspect(s) has not been located at this time. CPD Detectives and the Crime Scene Team are currently on scene investigating the incident. More details will be released as the investigation unfolds. There is no further information at this time.

Austin Peay State University Lady Govs - APSUOcala, FL – For the second straight day, junior Austin Peay State University women’s golfer Jessica Cathey shot a 3-over 75. But her younger teammates unfortunately could not provide her much help, Monday, as the Lady Govs slipped to 17th overall heading into the final day of the 2015 MSU Ocala Spring Invitational, being played at the Juliette Falls Golf Resort.

Clarksville Police Department Saturation Patrol Statistics from March 20th – March 21st, 2015

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department conducted impaired saturation patrols on March 20th and March 21st, which was partially funded by the Governor’s Highway Safety Office.

During this time, there were 303 vehicles stopped and 255 individuals charged.

My Two Cents: #Gabestrong

It seemed only fitting that former Clarksville City Councilman Gabe Segovia would lose his battle to cancer on the day God chose to begin his life.  And while there are many who think that is so sad, I celebrate for Gabe.

The pain is gone.  The suffering is over.  Now, go rest my brother!

Clarksville Police request Public Assistance with Shots Fired incident near Peabody Drive and Northridge Drive

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On March 21st, 2015 at 3:42pm, the Clarksville Police Department responded to a shots fired call in the area of Peabody Drive and Northridge Drive. Officers observed bullet casings, bullet fragments, and broken glass.

Several witnesses observed suspects and vehicles fleeing the area. A witness stated someone had been shot but was no longer on the scene. The shot victim’s injury appeared to be non-life threatening. There is no suspect or victim information at this time.

Nashville SoundsNashville, TN – Due to popular demand, box seat tickets for the Nashville Sounds Opening Night at First Tennessee Park on April 17th are sold out.

However, the Sounds are offering fans another chance to secure a ticket for the historic christening on Opening Night. Both berm and standing room only tickets, usually available for purchase only on the day of a game, are being sold now for the April 17th contest. Those tickets are $7.00 each.

Clarksville Police conducts Prostitution Sting

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Friday, March 20th, 2015, Vice and Narcotics agents of the Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit conducted operations targeting prostitution on backpage.com . Eight persons were charged with Soliciting Prostitution.

The focus of the operation was centered on those who solicit prostitution in an effort to not only reduce this type of activity but to prevent assaults and robberies against the solicitors that have become commonplace with online prostitution as they become easy targets when they are directed to locations that are controlled by the prostitutes. «Read the rest of this article»
