Clarksville Police asks public for assistance finding Glinorris Jackson, has Warrant with Multiple Charges

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department is looking for Glinorris Marvin Jackson. Jackson is a 21-year-old Clarksville resident. He has an active warrant with the following charges; Robbery, Firearm During Dangerous Felony, False Reports, Patronizing Prostitution and Driving on Suspended License.

National Weather Service issues Wind Advisory for Clarksville Montgomery County

 

National Weather ServiceNashville, TN – The National Weater Service (NWS) reports gusty winds will continue across Clarksville-Montgomery County as well as Middle Tennessee through this evening. A low pressure system will move across the Ohio Valley Region with a trailing cold front crossing Middle Tennessee this evening.

Austin Peay State University Lady Govs - APSUClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University women’s tennis team dropped a 4-2 heartbreaker to Belmont, Friday, at the Austin Peay Indoor Tennis Center.

As a result of inclement weather and time constraints moving the match indoors, singles matches were played first and doubles matches were bypassed because Belmont clinched the match victory in singles action.

Wassom Middle school girl saves choking father at Fort Campbell

Blanchfield Army Hospital - BACH - Fort Campbell KYFort Campbell, KY – Despite her young age and small stature, a rather modest and unassuming 11-year-old girl became one of the unlikeliest heroes last month as she sprang into action, performing the Heimlich maneuver on her choking father.

For her lifesaving actions, sixth-grade student Holly Widen was recognized at Fort Campbell’s Wassom Middle School March 26th, and received a coin and Certificate of Appreciation from Blanchfield Army Community Hospital Commander Col. George N. Appenzeller. The commander and Emergency Medical Services staff members, one of whom responded to the 911 call, lauded Holly’s actions.

Clarksville Police charge Woman with False Report after Reporting a Vehicle Burglary

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On March 30th, 2015 at 9:32am, Barbara Ishman reported to a Clarksville Police Department Officer that her vehicle had been burglarized at the Walmart on Fort Campbell Boulevard. Ishman stated that her Gateway laptop, Samsung tablet, and saxophone were taken from her unlocked vehicle while she was in Walmart shopping.

The laptop and tablet were items she was renting from a local rental company. She had called the rental company and advised that the property was stolen, and the company’s representative provided her with the serial numbers of her items.

Clarksville Montgomery County under Tornado Watch this evening

 

National Weather ServiceNashville, TN – The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Tornado Watch for Clarksville-Montgomery County and parts of Middle Tennessee this evening.

A low pressure system will move across the Ohio Valley Region this evening bringing high winds with it. The tornado watch is in effect until 9:00pm CT.

Counties affected: Cheatham County, Davidson County, Dickson County, Hickman County, Houston County, Humphreys County, Lewis County, Macon County, Maury County, Montgomery County, Perry County, Robertson County, Rutherford County, Stewart County, Sumner County, Trousdale County, Williamson County, and Wilson County.
