Tennessee Highway Patrol’s Free Youth and Junior Trooper Academies now accepting applications

 

Tennessee Highway Patrol - THPNashville, TN – The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) is now accepting applications for its youth and junior trooper academies in Nashville this summer.  As part of the THP’s community service initiatives, this is the second year the agency has hosted free trooper academies for youth.

There are two separate camps that will be held at the THP Training Center this summer. The agency’s junior trooper school, a day camp for children grades 6-8, will take place June 22nd-26th. The youth academy is an overnight camp for students in grades 9-12 that begins on July 6th and concludes on July 10th. The camps are open to boys and girls.  «Read the rest of this article»

Clarksville Police Department Saturation Patrol Statistics from April 3rd – April 4th, 2015

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department conducted impaired saturation patrols on April 3rd and April 4th, which was partially funded by the Governor’s Highway Safety Office.

During this time, there were 191 vehicles stopped and 159 individuals charged.

Clarksville Police arrest Jarlen Corbin for Shooting on Woodale Drive incident

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Jarlen Corbin, a 22-year-old Clarksville resident who was detained by Clarksville Police soon after the shooting occurred, was charged with Aggravated Burglary, Violation of Probation, Possessing a Weapon during the Commission of a Dangerous Felony, Evading Arrest and Simple Drug Possession.

Yesterday, March 5th, 2015, he was booked into Montgomery County Jail with a total bond amount is $82,000.

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Detective Kevin Rushing is searching for a Missing Person. The missing person is 18-year-old Christian Lombardo from Clarksville. Christian has been missing since Thursday March 2nd, 2015.

Christian left on foot and has no vehicle or driver’s license. Christian was last seen in the Patrick Place subdivision off Tiny Town Road near Exit 1.

Clarksville Police requests public assistance with Robbery on Fort Campbell Boulevard

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Friday, March 3rd, 2015 at 6:33pm, the Clarksville Police Department responded to a Robbery at a business on the 1200 block of Fort Campbell Boulevard.

A tall slender male subject approached the store employee/victim and ordered her to give him money from the safe and a cash drawer, and she complied. The suspect implied that he had a weapon under his hoodie, but the victim did not see it.
