38th Annual Special Populations Fishing Tournament to be Held at LBL’s Honker Lake

Land Between the Lakes - LBLOffice of Land Between the Lakes, KY/TN – Kentucky Lake Bass Club and the Knights of Columbus of Aurora will sponsor the 38th Annual Special Populations Fishing Tournament on Saturday, May 16th.

This tournament develops the fishing skills of children and adults who are physically or mentally challenged. Land Between The Lakes hosts the tournament at Honker Lake, off Forest Service Road 135 near Woodlands Nature Station.

Registration for the free tournament is from 8:00-9:00am; fishing is from 9:00am until 12:00pm. Prizes will be awarded for the heaviest string of fish.

“This is a fun day for volunteers, parents, caregivers, and especially the anglers,” commented Cathy Goode with Kentucky Lake Bass Club. “We encourage everyone to come out and enjoy this special event!”
