Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s Movies in the Park to feature Jurassic Park Saturday, May 16th

 

Movies in the ParkClarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville and Convergys are excited to announce Jurassic Park is coming to the big screen Saturday, May 16th as part of the 2015 Movies in the Park. Jurassic Park (PG-13), originally premiering in 1993, tells the story of a group of scientists who manage to bring dinosaurs back to life.

They must then deal with the unexpected consequences of their actions. The new Jurassic World is set to release this summer, making Saturday the perfect time to relive the original Jurassic Park story.

The showing will take place at Heritage Park, located at 1241 Peachers Mill Road at the softball fields. Experienced movie guests will recognize this is not the traditional location, as we are temporarily moving from the soccer fields for this movie only.

Guests are invited to bring picnic baskets, blankets, and lawn chairs. Please leave your pets and alcohol at home. Concessions are available for purchase on site.

The movie will begin at sunset, 8:00pm, with a pre-show activity beginning one hour before show time. So invite your family and friends, arrive early, and enjoy the Movies in the Park experience.
