Clarksville Police report Shots Fired near the Intersection of Greenwood Avenue and Madison Street

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Last night July 12th, 2015 at 8:45pm, Clarksville Police Officers responded to an Aggravated Assault call near the intersection of Greenwood Avenue and Madison Street.

The three occupants of the victims’ vehicle were traveling from the area of Crossland Avenue towards Madison Street and the suspect’s vehicle was behind them. While both vehicles were traveling, gunshots were fired from the suspect’s vehicle hitting the victims’ vehicle at least three times.

One of the occupants of the victims’ vehicle had a possible gunshot wound, or glass fragments from the back window lodged into the back of his head. He was sent to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.

He was alert and talking at the scene of the incident. There were no other reported injuries.

Witnesses on scene stated that the shots came from a small (S-10 sized), silver, or possibly gold, pickup with some type of topper/camper shell on the back.

The witnesses continued to say that it was occupied by two black individuals. The suspects could have been two black males or a black male and a black female. Detective Josh Jobe is requesting the public’s assistance.
