Land Between the Lakes Quota Deer Hunt Application Deadline nears

Land Between the Lakes - LBLLand Between the Lakes, KY/TN – Hunters wanting to hunt during the 2015 Quota Deer Hunt at Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area must apply by July 31st.

To submit applications by July 31st, hunters can apply online, 24/7, at www.landbetweenthelakes.us and click on the quota hunt application link (on the Home page or Hunting page). Additionally, hunters can call 270.924.2065, 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday. The application fee is $5.00 online, or $7.00 by phone.

Quota hunts provide unique recreational opportunities within the region and help maintain a healthy deer population.

Deer harvested on Land Between The Lakes are bonus deer and do not count toward statewide bag limits. All quota hunt permits will be for one deer, either-sex.

There is a one (1) antlered buck limit on Land Between The Lakes per hunter taken during the quota hunt and archery seasons.

Habitat maps, Motor Vehicle Use Map (MVUM), and the Recreation Map which shows the hunt areas, are available at http://www.landbetweenthelakes.us/visit/maps/.

On or after August 25th, applicants can visit www.landbetweenthelakes.us and go to the quota hunt application link to see if they were drawn.
