Clarksville’s Go Commando Half Marathon set for October 16th and 17th

Go Commando Half MarathonClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Rotary Club is pleased to present the 2015 Go Commando Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, Fun Run & Shadow Run powered by CDE Lightband. Go Commando is a nonprofit event with proceeds going to many local charities and community projects.

The event begins on Friday, October 16th, 2015 with the Health & Fitness Expo at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center from 11:00am – 8:00pm and again on Saturday, October 17th, from 7:00am – 12:00pm.

Go Commando Half Marathon

Exhibitors will be on-hand to showcase the latest in running apparel, health and beauty products, and nutrition.

Enjoy samples, demonstrations and one-on-one interaction with some of the best in the business. Pick up race packets and some really great products from sponsors.

Race day is Saturday, October 17th, 2015 with the starting line at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center.

The Half Marathon and 10K are perfect for runners that like a challenge. The 5K is a fast, flat course along the Cumberland River. The Liberty Fun Run is for children 10 years old and younger and is not a timed event. The Shadow Race from Afghanistan will be held the same day as the Go Commando Half Marathon.

This will be the fourth year that Go Commando has partnered with a deployed unit to host a Shadow Race. Cash prizes are new this year for the Half Marathon, 10K and 5K.

  • Half Marathon begins at 7:30am
  • 10K begins at 7:30am
  • 5K begins at 8:00am
  • Liberty Fun Run begins at 10:00am
