TBI adds Benjamin Brewer, Charged in Deadly I-75 Crash, to Top Ten Most Wanted

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has a new addition to the state’s ‘Top 10 Most Wanted’ list: Benjamin Scott Brewer of London, Kentucky.

Brewer is wanted by the Chattanooga Police Department, the U.S. Marshals Service, and the TBI stemming from an indictment by the Hamilton County Grand Jury this week, charging Brewer with six counts of Vehicular Homicide, four counts of Reckless Aggravated Assault, one count of DUI by Impairment of Narcotics, one count of Speeding, and one count of False Report of Duty Status.

Brewer was the driver of an 18-wheeler that collided with vehicles stopped in a construction zone on I-75 on June 26th. Six people died in the crash.

Brewer, 39, is described as a Caucasian male with brown hair and brown eyes. He stands five feet seven inches and weighs approximately 190 pounds.

Anyone with information about Brewer’s whereabouts is urged to call the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1.800.TBI.FIND (1.800.824.3463). There is a $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
