Clarksville Police Department sends kudos to Mulligan’s Wine and Spirits for their Crime Prevention Efforts

Due to Mulligan’s door locking system, a thief was caught red handed.

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On September 18th, 2015 at 10:36pm, a Clarksville Police Officer responded to a Theft Of Property Shoplifting at the 2200 block of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard (Mulligan’s Wine and Spirits).

The complainant advised that the suspect, Ina Tucker, concealed two bottles of Tequila in a bag and attempted to leave the store, passing the point of sale.

Once past the point of sale, the employees activated a door locking system which effectively trapped Ina Tucker in the foyer to the business.

Ina Tucker admitted to taking the Tequila, and the items were recovered in her bag.

Ina Tucker was cited for Shoplifting and Warrant procedures were advised.  Ina Tucker was also trespassed from Mulligan’s Liquors and Elite Liquors (1800 block of Madison Street) at the request of the owner of the businesses.

Ina Tucker has a history of theft, prostitution, aggravated assault, and drugs.
