Country Inns & Suites to host book drive benefiting Clarksville-Montgomery County Education Foundation’s Teacher Warehouse

Country Inns & SuitesClarksville, TN – Country Inns & Suites By Carlson recently announced that in celebration of National Literacy Day (September 8th) and as part of the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group 12th annual Responsible Business Action Month, the brand has launched a book drive with Read Indeed.

The book drive has been going on at participating hotels to benefit the international charity founded six years ago by Maria Keller, a then eight-year-old girl from Minnesota.

To celebrate the initiative the Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Clarksville, TN is hosting a book drive event on October 3rd, 2015 from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

Books collected during the event will go directly to the Clarksville-Montgomery County Education Foundation’s Teacher Warehouse for local educators to use in their classrooms.

The hotel is asking for new or gently used books with a preference for books for children and teens. The event is conveniently taking place during the American Library Association’s Banned Books Week and the hotel will offer refreshments for the community as they stop by with their donations.

Country Inns & Suites is located at 3075 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.
