Nashville, TN – A free kick with under three minutes remaining in double overtime gave Austin Peay State University women’s soccer team a 2-1 loss, Sunday, against Belmont at Rose Park.
In a golden goal situation, the Bruins found the back of the net courtesy of a free kick from roughly 25 yards out. After drawing a foul on the left side of the field, Belicia Mendiola curled a shot which found a home in the upper left corner.

Clarksville, TN – After nearly a month’s break from competition, Austin Peay State University women’s golf team will return to action, Monday and Tuesday, as it plays host to the 17th Annual F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate at the Clarksville Country Club.
The two-day 36-hole event will be played on the 5,974-yard layout.
Fort Campbell MWR announces AFAA Midlife Fitness for Women Certification Workshop to be held October 17th
Fort Campbell, KY – On Saturday, October 17th, the Estep Wellness Center is hosting an AFAA Midlife Fitness for Women Certification Workshop.
This one-day continuing education workshop provides the fitness professional with up-to-date information on the physiology of women during and past midlife.
It incorporates the stages and symptoms associated with menopause, and the log-term effects of estrogen deficiency.

Bowling Green, KY – Following a week’s layoff, Austin Peay State University men’s golf team will make a short trip into Kentucky to participate in the WKU Kenny Perry Invitational, Monday and Tuesday, at The Club at Olde Stone.
Clarksville, TN – On October 22nd, Zone 3 Press, the Austin Peay State University Center for Excellence in Creative Arts’ literary journal, will present a poetry reading with award-winning writers Angela Ball and Ashley Seitz Kramer.
The event will be held in Room 303 of the Morgan University Center and begins at 8:00pm.
